APOLLO COSMO

Jonathan Ramirez, born in New Jersey but raised in Cape Coral, Florida, always had a love for music. At the age of 10, his elementary school Cape Elementary choir performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, and from that moment on Jonathan knew that it was his life’s purpose to perform entertaining Millions across the globe! Growing up listening to Hip-Hop and R&B taught Jonathan how to express his feelings lyrically. Influences such as New York natives Jay-Z and Mos Def. However, when Jonathan was a teenager, he felt his passion for music shift, placing it onto sports.

 

During his hiatus from music, an event changed his life, causing Jonathan to adjust his perspectives on life and his values. His journey took him down the rabbit hole of Spiritual awakening, seeking inner peace within himself, which in return brought him back his love for music but with a twist! During this transformative period, Apollo Cosmo was born. Apollo is inspired by rappers like J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar , and Mos Def whose songs have powerful messages about self-worth, Truth,Unity and the harsh realities of this world.

 

In 2019 he released his first studio album “Operation Earth” which is a mix of classic R&B beats with the edginess of today’s rap wrapped in a message of love, self-mastery, and positivity. In 2021 Apollo furthered his education by enrolling into Full Sail University to receive his BFA in Music Production. He plans on being inducted into Full Sail’s Hall of Fame.
